Service Fees & Coverage
Insurance Coverage, Payment & Policies
Insurance coverage
If you have extended health coverage, most insurance providers cover all or part of the cost of acupuncture treatments but you should check with your insurance company to see what your policy offers and whether there are any restrictions on the types of illnesses they cover. In the case that you do not have health coverage for acupuncture and require financial assistance to cover the costs, we recommend you contact our clinic for more information regarding our Community-based acupuncture treatments.
Payments accepted
We accept most forms of payment including Debit, Visa, MasterCard and E-transfers. We do not accept American Express. All prices listed above are subject to taxes with the exclusion of acupuncture and other treatments provided by a registered acupuncturist or registered physiotherapist.
Cancellation and missed appointment policy
Please give us a 24 hour notice if you would like to cancel or reschedule an appointment so that we have time to schedule in other patients who may need that time slot. If the notice must be given outside of clinic hours, please leave a voice message or send us an email. Any appointments that are cancelled, rescheduled or missed without a 24 hour notice will result in a charge for the full appointment amount.
Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Claims Accepted
Our clinic is officially licensed under FSRA (formerly known as FSCO). We understand that unfamiliar processes and paperwork could interfere with your recovery and even cause further stress and anxiety. Therefore, we handle the submission of individualized treatment plans and invoices on behalf of MVA clients. This includes the completion of OCF documents for major and minor injuries, direct billing of invoices, and communication with lawyers and insurance adjusters related to your medical claim.
